Dear partners,
As discussed during our meeting, we have prepared a new template for the WP description. It is more detailed, but it will help us to complete Sections 1 and 2 of the proposal template.

@WP leaders: Please define the different tasks of your WP and suggest potential leaders.
We will review and finalise the WP structure during our next meeting (10/09).
Best regards,
Émilie
Dear WP leaders,
This is a reminder to define the tasks for your work package and propose potential leaders as soon as possible. This will allow us to finalise the WP structure during our meeting on Wednesday.
As mentioned last Friday, a new WP template is available in the shared folder (linked below). Please use this updated version for consistency.
Let us know if you have any questions. Best regards, Émilie

Hello Emilie, all
who is the WP Counterpart at STR for WP1
I would be happy to sync and review any input generated. Do we have an understanding for this analysis in terms of communications and data infrastructure AI needs and applications sector needs?
Anyhow, I am not sure if we are the best partners for this WP, as you know I am much better on the solutions building and dissemination part;-) Just for expectation management.
The project is a three years project, right? What will be the expected start ? Mid 2026? Did we decide if we want to have a kind of iteration, lets say to review the African needs after 18 month for a second improvement phase?

Hi Thomas,
We can’t manage like this. TUB/FOKUS has to participate to the calls otherwise it won’t work. There is no one at the current call. I am myself at Sigcomm and still makes the effort. Time is really very tight. Best -serge

Salut Serge, hello all,
what should I say. I am sorry. I was in an onsite living lab initial cooperation talk at management level. So no option to join any teams. It is as it is and I cant control sicknesses.
But lets make it easy for all of us.
Lets drop FOKUS / TUB for this proposal, as I dont want to be the showstopper.
I am very sorry, but I guess less partners make it easier for you I guess. Nevertheless I am crossing fingers for your submission.

Hi Thomas,
Your decision. You can’t just open a parallel channel with you to discuss the details. It could be someone else for FOKUS/TUB but there is none, often the case in DIGITafrica too.

Hello,
I updated for Inria. WP6 leaders need to be involved in each task of WP5 and we must have a clear liaison with WP6. Similarly I think that the leaders of WP5 should take part in at least T6.1 and T6.2, maybe 6.3 is not really needed as it is business as usual.
Thanks,
Damien Saucez
